More major cleanup, sorting, and salvaging
of the back greenhouse
Here's the curse of being a part of small grassroots community group - it's a working board of directors, some of the hardest-working people you could meet. Try to keep up!
Today's board meeting took on a herculean task of moving forward on cleaning up the big back houses that were completely abandoned and filled overwhelmingly with a mix of supplies, dumped waste/refuse, and other abandoned furniture, tires, you name it. As always, it takes ten times longer to do anything responsibly. Trying to salvage, recycle, and deal appropriately wth the mystery chemicals, we cost ourselves more time, but's worth it to see such big strides done in such a feel good way.
Our benefactor of a neighbor wants to hold an auction in that greenhouse and offered to clear away the trash, waste, and debris for us, so we needed to go through one last time and :
- Consolidate anything reusable/repurposeful, etc.
Found some good reusable/repurposeful doors

- Identify the regular trash from the mystery waste/environmental concernables, e.t.c.
- Survive the eighty-degree, high humidity and the constant sneezing and choking on particulate matter. By mid-task it was difficult to avoid being annoyed by your own immune system for the constant sneezing.
This was possibly the biggest mess cleaned up, yet.
My board of directors is indomitable.
