Cleaned out a garden where overgrown, tangled, dead ground cover took over. I go where no tiller can!

Broke one shovel and bent a pitchfork tine, but by gum this garden bed is rid of the old dead tangled (& deeply rooted) ground cover (Euonymus fortunei). This stuff was so bad, Scott had to help big-time! We can go where no tiller dares to tread.
This was a sweet job: client's husband was the gardener and she can't maintain it since his passing. But they planted lots of bulb and corm plants together, so we carefully set all these little buggers aside when digging and then replanted them all when we had the bed cleaned
