Possible sporulation! B. cereus at 1000x. Wish it were more distinctively green, but so far this is my best contender. Put another. Culture in the 80oC oven to try again- this time exposing them to high heat for 2 days vs 1. I'll give 'em inhospitable conditions yet...😕 #microbiology #endosporestain

I only had a chance to use a lower quality microscope, but so far after 50 hours, it looks as though I have no sporulation. Checking again today on the good scope. Also going to stain again after keeping the culture in 80oC overnight... #microbiology #endospore
